TJ’s Rice Medley
This fabulous blend of brown rice, red rice, and black barley is a staple in the Busy Girl household. Microwaveable and ready in just three minutes, this hearty blend comes out perfectly cooked every time. The black barley adds a nice chewy texture to the rice, and it is a wonderful base for everything from chili to stir fries to homemade burrito bowls. While it is certainly more economical to cook your own rice the old fashioned way when you have time, this box of 3 individual packages, each of which contains about 3 normal-people servings of rice (in my experience), won’t break the bank and is more nutritious than most instant rice.
TJ’s Mandarin Orange Chicken
This guilty pleasure is a staple in my freezer. Slightly healthier than Chinese takeout, this frozen meal is certainly much cheaper than ordering delivery and ready much sooner. Recipe coming soon!
